Angelica polymorpha- Dang gui- is regarded as the best herb for nourishing and regulating the blood. It is a wonderful nourishing tonic for women. Virtually all formulas that regulate women's cycles contain Dang gui.
Contraindications- because of its effects at regulating blood, it should be avoided in pregnancy.
