FUNCTIONS
GROUP: Endogenous Wind
1. Stop Wind, calm down spasm, expel Wind, attack poison.[2]
2. Dispels flatus and relieves spasms.[1]
INDICATIONS
1. Convulsion in children, twitching and spasms, facial paralysis, spasm of cerebral vessels, hemiplegia, tetanus, lymphatic tuberculosis, carbuncle swelling.[2]
2. Stroke and hemiplegia, nystagmus, infantile convulsions, spasms, tetanus, leprosy.[1]
CONTRAINDICATIONS: Note low dose- never overdose. Pregnancy. Internal wind generated by Blood deficiency.[3]
PREPARATIONS: Decoction- 0.9-1.5 g whole scorpion, or 3-8 scorpion tails.[1]  Dried body 2.5-4.5 g.[2]
