FUNCTIONS
GROUP: Harmonising, Clear Heat
1. Clears Heat, disperses the Stagnated Liver Qi, descends Rebellious Qi.
INDICATIONS
1. Liver Fire attacking the Stomach: Nausea, belching, vomiting, regurgitation, pain in the hypochondria, bitter taste in the mouth, diskile of hot drinks, dry mouth T- red with yellow coat P- wiry and rapid
APPLICATIONS: Gastritis, peptic ulcer, oesophageal reflux, hiatus hernia, cholecystitis, allergic colitis, bacillary dysentery.
INGREDIENTS
Coptis chinensis- 黄连 Huáng Lián- Coptis root
Evodia rutaecarpa- 吳茱萸 Wú zhū yú- Evodia fruit
CONTRAINDICATIONS: Spleen or Kidney Yang deficiency
COMMENTS: This formula may also be used for diarrhea or dysentery due to Damp Heat
