FUNCTIONS
GROUP: Regulate Qi
1. Spread the Liver Qi to relieve Liver stagnation, strengthens the
Spleen and nourishes the Blood.
INDICATIONS
1. Stagnation of Liver Qi and hypofunction of Spleen: distending pain
of the upper abdomen, dizziness, tiredness, poor appetite, chils and fever,
menstrual disorders, premenstrual tension with swollen breasts and abdominal
pain, moodiness, depression, fluctuation of mental state T- normal or may have
red sides P- wiry and weak
APPLICATIONS: Stress, pre-menstural syndrome, chronic hepatitis,
cholecystitis, gastritis, pluerisy, peptic ulcer, anemia, mastits hyperplasia
of mammary gland, irregular menstruation, uterine bleeding, leukorrhea, manopausal
syndrome, optic nerve atrophy, central retinitis.

Angelica polymorpha- 当归 Dāng guī- Angelica
Paeonia lactiflora- 白芍 Bái sháo- White peony root
Bupleurum chinensis- .柴胡 Chái hú- Bupleurum root
Poria cocos- 茯苓 Fú líng- Hoelen
Atractylodes macrocephala 白术 Bái zhú- White Atractylodes
Glycyrrhiza uralensis- 甘草 Gān cǎo- Chinese Licorice
Zingiber officinale- 生姜 Shēng jiāng- Fresh ginger rhizome
Mentha arvensis- 薄荷 Bò hé- Peppermint stalk and leaves
CONTRAINDICATIONS: Severe Qi deficiency with Yin deficiency.
