FUNCTIONS
Group: Exterior Releasing, Clear Heat
1. Clear Heat and resolves Toxicity, releases exterior Wind Heat.
INDICATIONS
1. Febrile illness due to exterior Wind Heat or Heat and Toxicity:
Fever which may be accompanied by mild chills, headache, irritability, sweating,
loss of appetite, cry mouth, thirst, decreased urination, dark urine, dry stools
or constipation T- red with yellow coat which may also be greasy P- rolling
and rapid. There may also be red skin rash carbuncle or furuncle, sore and swollen
throat with difficulty in swallowing.
APPLICATIONS: Common cold, influenza, mumps, upper respiratory
tract infection, rubella, roseola infantum, carbuncle, furuncle.

CONTRAINDICATIONS: Not for long term
use, use only during the acute stages while symptoms are present. use with caution
in Deficiency patterns. Children under 2 years of age without medical supervision.
COMMENTS : This is a strong Heat and Toxicity clearing formula
which should only be used while the signs of Heat are present. Long term use
may injure the Yang Qi.
