ACTIONS: Clears Heat, transforms Dampness, regulate the Qi.
INDICATIONS: Dysentery or diarrhea due to Damp Heat: Abdominal pain with sensation of fullness, diarrhea (there may be mucus pus and blood in the stool), tenesmus, burning sensation of anus, dark and scanty urine, fever, restlessness, stifling sensation in the chest, thirst, T- red with yellow sticky coat P- rapid or slippery rapid or soft rapid
APPLICATIONS: Diarrhea Bacillary dysentery. Enteritis. Colitis. Crohn's disease.

Coptis chinensis- 黄连 Huáng Lián- Coptis root
Aucklandia lappa- 木香 Mù Xiāng- Costus Root
Evodia rutaecarpa- 吳茱萸 Wú zhū yú- Evodia fruit
CONTRAINDICATIONS:"Cock-crow diarrhea" (diarrhea first thing in the morning with undigested food in the stools), with Kidney Yang Deficiency.
COMMENTS: This is a specific formula for dysenteric disorders with tenesmus and abdominal pain
