FUNCTIONS
1. Dries Dampness and transforms Phlegm, regulates the Qi and harmonizes the Stomach, clears Heat from the Gallbladder and eliminates irritability.
INDICATIONS
1. Phlegm and Heat or disharmony between Gall Bladder and Stomach: Irritability, insomnia, bitter taste in the mouth, dizziness, vomiting, fullness and discomfort over the chest, productive cough with thick yellow sputum T- greasy white or yellow coat P- rapid and slippery or wiry pulse
APPLICATIONS: Chronic gastritis, peptic ulcer, chronic bronchitis, chronic hepatitis, coronary heart disease, endocrine disorders, menopausal syndrome, neurosis, early stage schizophrenia, Meniere's disease.
INGREDIENTS
Pinellia ternata- 半夏 Bàn xià- Pinellia
Phyllostachys nigra- 竹茹 Zhú rú- Internal layer of Bamboo dry stalk
Citrus aurantium - 枳实  Zhǐ shí- Immature bitter orange
Citrus tangerina- 陳皮 Chén pí- Aged Tangerine skin
Zingiber officinale- 生姜 Shēng jiāng- Fresh Ginger rhizome
Ziziphus jujuba, Z. vulgaris  大枣 Dà zǎo- Large Date
CONTRAINDIATIONS: Yin and Blood deficiency
