GROUP:  Group: Exterior Clearing
1. Release Exterior Wind and Clears Heat.
INDICATIONS: Cold and Flu with Wind-Heat Syndrome.
APPLICATIONS: Heavy sensation of the body, fever and chills with high fever, sore throat, thirsty, sneezing, cough with yellow sputum, yellow and scanty urine, or constipation. T-red tip with thin coating P- floating and rapid.
INGREDIENTS
Schizonepeta tenuifolia 荆芥 Jīng jiè Schizonepeta
Bupleurum chinense- 柴胡 Chái hú- Bupleurum root
Platycodon grandiflorus 桔梗 Jié gěng- Balloon flower root- Platycodon
Prunus armeniaca- 杏仁 Xìng rén- Sweet Apricot kernel
Phragmites communis- 芦根 Lú gēn- Reed grass
Pueraria pseudohirsuta- 葛根 Gé gēn- Pueraria, Kudzu vine
CONTRAINDICATIONS: Deficient syndrome such as cold or flu with deficient cold.
COMMENTS: This formula is used to treat the acute stages of common cold or flu due to Wind Heat, particularly with coughing and sore throat.
