FUNCTIONS
GROUP: Calm Spirit 
1. Nourishes the Heart Blood and calms the Shen, regulates and tonifies the middle Heater.
INDICATIONS: Deficiency of Heart Blood with disharmony between Liver and Spleen: lack of control over actions and emotions, anxiety, frequent yawning. T- red or red tipped P- thready and rapid.
APLICATIONS: Hysteria, neurosis, menopause and other mental disorders with lack of control over actions and emotions: Enuresis in children. neurasthenia and cardasthenia with palpitations, insomnia and irritability due to Deficiency of Heart Blood or Yin.
INGREDIENTS
Glycyrrhiza uralensis- 甘草 Gān cǎo-  Chinese Licorice
Triticum aestivum- 浮小麥 Fú xiǎo mài- Floating wheat
Ziziphus jujuba, Z. vulgaris  大枣 Dà Zǎo- Large date
Polygonum multiflorum-夜交藤 Yè jiāo téng- Polygonum stem
Poria cocos- 茯苓 Fú líng- Hoelen fungus
Albizia julibrissin-合歡皮 Hé huān pí- Persian silk tree, Albissia
Lilium brownii- 百合 Bǎi hé- Lily bulb
CONTRAINDICATIONS: Excessive Syndromes.
COMMENTS : This formula is often used to treat menopausal syndrome with pronounced emotional symptoms.
